    In July 1971, Lottie Duggan visited the site at Dauphin Island, Alabama, where the schooner Emma Harvey was located 55 years after it was lost in the storm of July 5, 1916. Her father, George Duggan, and brother, Arthur Duggan, died in the storm and were never found.

    These home movies were made in 1962 and, possibly, 1963. They fall into 4 main sections.

    (1) Henry and Melba Gutierrez, along with their daughters Paige and Sybil, on a day trip to Ship Island, off the coast of Mississippi, where they are seen exploring the Civil War-era Fort Massachusetts

    (2) Roxann Gutierrez in the backyard of the Gutierrez home on Seal Avenue in Biloxi with family pets, including two mallard ducks

    (3) What appears to be a birthday party in the kitchen of the house on Seal Avenue, attended by Melba's sisters, Beverly and Lurline, and their spouses and children.

    (3) Jim Nabors, in town to perform at Gus Stevens, visits the home of Henry and Melba Fay Gutierrez on Seal Avenue in Biloxi. At the time, he was featured on the popular television series The Andy Griffith Show and would begin starring in his own show, Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C., the following year. While in Biloxi, Nabors roomed with Henry's brother Ziggy at the Hotel Biloxi and hung out at Ziggy's nightclub. In addition to Paige, Sybil and Roxann Gutierez, also present are Lottie Foretich and family friends Clare and Warren Hornsby and Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Rusich.

    On July 5, 1916, the schooner Emma Harvey was lost in a storm off the Mississippi coast. Its crew were never found. Among those lost were George Duggan, his son, Arthur Duggan, and his wife's nephew, Lawrence Bennett.

    In July 1971, Lottie Duggan Foretich visited the site at Dauphin Island, Alabama, where the schooner Emma Harvey was located 55 years after it was lost in the storm of July 5, 1916. Her father, George Duggan, and her brother Arthur were never found and are presumed to have died in the storm. She recalled her brother Arthur carving his initials into the wood and located the spot where his initials remained.
